Peran Wakaf Produktif dalam Meningkatkan Kesejahteraan Ekonomi Masyarakat Berbasis Kearifan Lokal di Desa Dayah Mesjid

Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of community economic empowerment strategies through the management of productive waqf based on local wisdom in Dayah Mesjid Village. Productive waqf is regarded as an Islamic social finance instrument that plays an important role in promoting community economic independence, particularly in rural areas. This research employs a quantitative approach using the paired sample t-test method to compare the level of community welfare before and after the implementation of the productive waqf program. Data were collected from 15 program beneficiaries using indicators such as income improvement, business independence, and financial management capability. The results show a significant difference between the community’s economic condition before and after the program, with t = -16.081, df = 14, and p < 0.001, while Cohen’s d = -4.152 indicates a very large effect size on community welfare. These findings demonstrate that the productive and locally rooted management of waqf has a positive impact on improving both the economic and social conditions of the community.
